Well, at least you'll be happy to know you can't kill me. No one can.
I'm four in one, I am all and nothing. I'm starving.
[ He's talking what sounds like nonsense, but he speaks as if it makes all the sense in the world. ]
Sunstorm, your counter in my reality. He was a zealous fool, but you. You're not, your smart and chaotic. You blazed your own path even knowing your power. You stood down a god and I see you burn brighter... even if you fade in the temporary sorrows... Sunstorm, you're... [ His voice becomes pure static. ]
Well, you haven't heard me talk about Solus yet. Some people think I'm still pretty zealous. But she's my light, my saviour. I have to be.
...Sideways?
Sideways, do you need me to come to you? [ It may not make sense to Sunstorm, but it still feels like he's... Distressed. Something is upsetting him, and maybe he's skirting around telling her outright, but- He's still telling her.
They're all a little distressed, right now. But nobody should weather it alone. ]
[ Maybe there's something about her ignorance that makes her brave, or maybe she would be like this regardless. Either way, there's an edge of sharp determination in her voice, the same sort she wore going into battle with his god.
They'd won, too. Even if not the war, they'd won the battle, and for here and now that was enough.
The static is biting, but Sunstorm knows where she stands. ]
[ Never mind a talk; as soon as Sunstorm sees him, the Seeker practically rushes Sideways. Whatever he's expecting though... Well, Sunstorm's tackle only ends up in her hugging onto him like a limpet, wings flicking like crazy. Thankfully she's probably too small to knock him over. Probably. Hopefully. ]
Idiot! Dumbaft pile of- [ There's not enough words in common cybex for this so he's getting a dressing down in parrot-like squawks. Still doesn't let go of him though. ]
[ He tries to make a break for it, but he's picked up the cues too late and he's knocked over into the ground. Grunting and glitching a moment before he starts laughing. ]
Sorry, Sunstorm. I needed time to figure things out... the battle on Etz did me in more then I thought.. [ He places a hand behind her head and touches his to hers.
How much of this is real, is what Sideways wants to know. or is this another Hot Shot situation.]
[ The glitching is- Strange, and there's a weird little flick of her wings at the feeling of static it leaves behind, but Sunstorm will shrug it off. If they're monsters both, then it's something she can deal with.
She bonks him back harder, perhaps a little too overzealous with it. Oh well. There's a snap of her teeth at him after - to imitate a click of a beak or is it aggression? - but Sunstorm follows it up with a mere annoyed little huff. ]
I could have done something. Helped. I told you I won't run.
[ She sniggers, flashing her teeth again. No, this is not like Hot Shot. There’s no naivety in those ultraviolet optics, even if she hasn’t fully grasped the truth. For all of her own chaotic edge, she’s still old enough to know better. Old enough to know her strengths, and be comfortable with them.
Both monsters indeed.
Sunstorm flicks one of his horns lightly. ] You trying to flirt with me, horns?
[ Sunstorm lets out a bark of laughter, pulling lightly on his horn just to playfully rag on him. When she lets go, she kicks out one leg and promptly gets herself comfortable. Nope, not getting off of this Sideways. ]
Hah! Let me guess, it all went right over their poor head. Lucky for you I still know all the moves... And picked up a few new ones.
Lets just say... asking if he wanted me to Fritz His Circuits... went about as well as you'd imagine. [ He lays there just letting her sit all she pleased. ]
Woe to Hot Shot; will likely die a virgin. HAH. Though it was fun, it's nice seeing someone who gets when I'm flirting.
Oh, he would. He is a real sticker for all rules and doesn't usually make exceptions. You should totally go meet for the conversation, though. That sounds funny.
